Toolbox Anonymous — Dev Tools & Automations for the AI Era
Hey, I’m Nate. I built Toolbox Anonymous, I write the code, and I answer the email.
Let’s talk about why this studio exists. Software development changed almost overnight. AI took the market, and it did it fast. The new generation of developers is moving at lightspeed — prompt engineering full features into existence, collaborating with autonomous AI agents, and shipping with raw momentum at 2 AM.
The catch? Almost all the dev tools and cloud platforms around us were built for a much slower decade and a much slower room. That gap is the entire reason Toolbox Anonymous exists.
We make automations and developer tools so you can spend your day on the creative, inventive parts that are actually yours — while our tools handle the tedious, mechanical plumbing.
Our Mission
We build for developers who grew up with an AI in the editor.
The tool should take the repetitive, mechanical work off your shoulders. You keep the cloud account, the pipeline, the data perimeter, and the final architectural call. No proprietary lock-in. No synthetic walled gardens that kidnap your containers.
Our Vision
I want a tight, battle-tested bench of laser-focused tools — each one happy to plug straight into the workflow, the CI, and the terminal you already run.
We don’t build monolithic, bloated enterprise suites with 400 nested settings menus. We build precision instruments for the vibe coding and AI agent era. If a tool takes more than 5 minutes to wire into your project, we failed.
Studio Goals
1. Kill Staging Friction
Eliminate the multi-hour pain of provisioning preview environments. Ephemeral previews should spin up on real cloud metal the second you push a PR and vanish the second you merge.
2. Bridge Agents to Real Cloud Metal
AI agents can write stunning code, but deploying, testing, and isolating their work in real cloud VPCs is still broken. We build the bridges that let agents test on real infrastructure without breaking production.
3. Radical Pricing Transparency
Kill the enterprise gatekeeping. Zero “book a 45-minute discovery demo with sales”. Zero hidden calculator sliders. Every tool on our bench has clear, predictable, honest math.
The Product Roster
Toolbox Anonymous is the company and the lab. Here is what we’re building and shipping:
NeoSpaxe
Ephemeral AWS previews in your own account, from the CI you already useNeoSpaxe is the first weapon out of our lab. When you vibe code a new feature and open a pull request, NeoSpaxe provisions an isolated preview stack directly inside your AWS account using your existing GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket pipeline.
When the teardown workflow reports completion on merge, the stack is removed cleanly. Zero orphaned resources, zero proprietary dashboards, and no synthetic cloud lock-in.
Agent CI Harness
Sandboxed automated verification for autonomous coding agentsAutonomous agents like Claude, Codex, and Cursor background workers are generating pull requests at scale. The Agent CI Harness spins up isolated mock and preview sandboxes to run full test suites, integration benchmarks, and visual regressions before any agent code touches your staging branch.
Cloud Ephemera Daemon
Zero-config idle detection and cost safety nets for developer AWS stacksA lightweight utility that monitors developer preview stacks and development databases across AWS accounts. Detects zero-traffic idle periods and automatically triggers safe teardowns or sleep states, preventing accidental weekend cloud bill spikes.
More tools and automations are actively being forged in the lab. When they survive torture testing, they get added to this bench.
How We Build (The Nate Ethos)
- Your Cloud, Your Rules: We don’t believe in SaaS vendor lock-in. Tools should deploy into your cloud, run in your CI, and respect your security perimeter.
- Terminal & Workflow First: No forced proprietary web portals when a 20-line workflow file does the job faster, cleaner, and with zero maintenance.
- Built for AI-Native Velocity: When you’re shipping at the speed of thought, tooling shouldn’t be the bottleneck.
